Thru the years, I've set-up various pages and groups on Facebook.
VILLAGE OF KANSAS ILLINOIS
Of all of them, the one that's been the most successful, making it the one I'm most proud of, is this one:
This Facebook group has turned into a really neat forum for information, announcements, news, history, pictures, etc. to be shared about my hometown of Kansas, Illinois.
On Easter Sunday, we achieved a pretty remarkable milestone:
1,000 members in the group !!!
And considering that a person must have some connection to Kansas to be a member (ex. resident, former resident, employed there, business owner there, relative there, went to school there, etc.), it's even more cool to think that we hit the 1,000 mark.
One thousand great folks with an interest in a really-neat village of 800 situated in east-central Illinois.
AWESOME!
