Picture 6/13: Fall of the Bradford

And with one mighty puff of wind, our Bradford Pear came crashing down:
I guess I should say half of it came crashing down.
The other half will come down tomorrow, via chain saw.
Other than a couple small pines, this was the last mature tree in our yard.
:(
Side note: as recently as June 2014, we had 2 nice Bradford Pears in our yard. What happened to the first one?
