Came across a list of the top 25 highest and lowest paid Illinois school superintendents.
The info was released by the Illinois State Board of Education and summarized here:
At the top...... Linda Yonke of New Trier (Northfield). She has 2 schools with 4,100 students and pulls in an astronomically high $370k (includes benefits).

How much is a superintendent worth?
I've seen good ones (Long, Jones).
I've seen bad ones (names withheld).
Good ones (dedicated, invested, involved, supportive) definitely earn their pay.
