I had the honor of attending an honors program tonight:
Our Freshman (and many others) was recognized for achieving high honors this school year.
After that part of the evening, we all got to witness a very neat National Honors Society induction ceremony.
It took me back to 1991 when I had my induction into NHS. Although I had kinda forgotten what the 5 main tenets/pillars of NHS are, it was neat to hear them tonight and kinda amazing how key they've been to the core of my life over the last 25 years:

Leadership
Service
Citizenship
