I took a half-day of vacation today so that I could help out with the Beautify Decatur Coalition's clean-up of 22nd Street.
Our mission (as part of Group 2):
There were 5 of us -- 3 on the west side of the street and 2 on the east side.
Sometimes these litter pick-ups result in the finding of some very interesting stuff (just ask my folks).
However, we didn't find anything unique, bizarre or valuable on our side, other than a license plate and a work glove.
No tools.
No money.
No undies.
No urine-filled bottles.
Out for now.......
