Received a nice surprise in the mail:
The backstory......
As previously mentioned here on MattChat, we were up in Morris back on June 25 for a family get-together (pix: http://matthonnold.blogspot.com/2016/06/the-day-in-morris.html)
On the way up, we stopped at McDonalds for a breakfast snack and had to settle for hash browns as they were all out of muffins. (fresh batch was not ready to serve at the time we were there)
In a light-hearted way, I posted about the "muffin shortage" issue out on Twitter.
Someone associated with the Central Illinois McD's group saw that post and contacted me for more details.
The coupons above were sent my way as their apology for the missing muffins.
How cool is that!!??!!
