We took in an amazing performance out at Millikin University tonight.
Vespers 2016.
"One Can Hear the Falling Snow"
Well over 200 students on stage, in the balcony, down the aisles.
All dressed elegantly.
Vocalists in a constant state of motion, moving from 1 spot to another around the room.
My favorite 3 parts:
- the rendition of "Mary Did You Know"
- entire crowd standing to sing 3 Christmas carols
- the last 30 minutes of the performance where things got a little more lively/groovy
Despite living in Macon County for 20 years, this was our first time to Vespers.
Won't be our last.
