What a wonderful way to start the weekend!!
Things that made me smile today:
- it's Saturday!
- dropping by Casey's with our Freshman for a morning doughnut
- raking leaves and general clean-up of the yard in the beautiful 50 degree sunshine
- looking up to see hundreds of geese flying in formation against the brilliant blue sky
- test-driving a Ford Focus...... then test-driving another one
- watching our 4th grader do so well at her swim meet
- hearing that Dad and Mom had safely arrived back in Chicago
- seeing the excitement in the eyes of our puppy as she gets to go outside
- quick run to Dollar General with wifey
Yeah, life is good.
