We pass through Oakland Illinois pretty much every time we go down to visit Dad and Mom. Figured today was as good day as any to grab some photos.

My main memories of Oakland are:
- school events (basketball, football, scholastic bowl)
- family meals at their small cafe or at the Inn on the Square (both out of business)
- visits to the Case dealership and grain elevator with Dad
- Dr. Arun Bajaj
- family outings to Walnut Point State Park
