Saw a little bit of college football history today.
9 overtimes in 1 game. First time that's ever happened. (Granted, the rules for overtime have been significantly modified thru the years.)
Illini were given pretty much no chance to win this game. But they played tough, especially on defense. Plus, Penn State played nothing like a #7 ranked team should.
It was a hard-fought win. One that they need to take and build from.
