Little Ukrainian Shack

I got on Google Maps.

Spun around the globe over to Ukraine.

Randomly selected a location out in the countryside.

Flipped-over to "Street View".

And came across this little shack.

What a cute little place of refuge.  Possibly a bus stop?  Or maybe it formerly housed some type of roadside market?

Someone - at some point - took time to paint those beautiful sunflowers.  The beautiful symbols of a nation whose history is not filled with much beauty.

Beacons of hope & light in a country that is being absolutely ravaged by war.

War.  Is.  Hell.

Wonder if this little shack is still standing?

Wonder if the road in front of it has been travelled by the Russian invaders?

Or by those evacuating from the Russian invasion?

When you think of a sunflower, what descriptive words come to mind?

Bright.

Tall.

Elegant.

Independent.

Strong.

May the inspiration of the sunflower encourage all those who pass by this shack.  And may there be peace in Ukraine.

Grace & Peace & Love to you all -

Matt
